Right on the doorstep, the sunny Salto high plateau is waiting to be discovered. Our guesthouse on the Monzoccolo mountain ridge is the ideal starting point for hikers and nature lovers 365 days a year. From pleasant panoramic walks to challenging hikes and adventurous summit tours - there is something for everyone in San Genesio and surroundings! Don’t miss the Legend Trail, to the Stone cairns (Stoanerne Mandln), the Earth Pyramids and to the church of St. Jacob (St. Jakob auf Langfenn). Our guesthouse with horse farm is located along the popular European long-distance hiking trail E5 that leads from the Atlantic coast in France to Verona (IT). The highlight is the crossing of the Alps from Oberstorf to the Adriatic coast. Adrenaline junkies can conquer the 2,581m Ifinger Peak or take the new via ferrata dedicated to 'Heini Holzer', the father of extreme adventures. For refreshments, we recommend to enjoy one or more South Tyrolean delicacies during a vitalising break in one of the many mountain huts in the area.
